EDUCATION RENEWAL AND TRANSFER OF HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS

Renewal and transfer of higher education students is carried out in accordance with the Regulations on expulsion, renewal, transfer and interruption of studies at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University (approved by the Academic Council on 29.09.2019 protocol № 9, put into effect by order № 144/05 from 09.04 .2019), taking into account the requirements of the “Regulations on the procedure for transfer, expulsion and renewal of students in higher education institutions” “approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 15.07.1996 № 245, registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine 07.08.1996 for ( 427/1452), the Statute of the University and the “Regulations on the organization of educational activities at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University” (approved by the Academic Council 02.03.2020 protocol №2, entered into force by order № 246/05 from 31.08.2020) .

Renewal is the restoration of status, rights and responsibilities of a higher education student at university.

Transfer – changes in applicant’s rights and responsibilities, due to a change of the higher education institution and/or specialty (specialization, educational (scientific) program), and/or form of education and/or sources of funding without terminating the status of higher education student.

Renewal or transfer of students is carried out only during summer or winter holidays.

Deadlines for applications:

from June 1 to September 15 – autumn semester;

from December 1 to February 15 – spring semester.

TRANSFER OF VASYL’ STUS DONETSK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Transfer of students from one educational program to another (from specialty to specialty) is allowed within the field of knowledge. Transfer of students is possible only during the holidays.

The students submit the following documents:

-application (to be filled in when submitting documents);

-copy of the record book, issued in accordance with the requirements and certified by the seal of the educational institution (faculty);

-in case the identity documents changed during the study, appropriate copies should be provided and added to the student’s personal file.

TRANSFER OF STUDENTS

TO VASYL’ STUS DONETSK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

FROM OTHER INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Transfer of students to Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University is carried out during the holidays. Applicant wishing to transfer from another higher education institution submits an application to the head of the higher education institution where he/she is studying and, after obtaining rector’s written consent, applies to the Admission Committee of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University.

The students must submit the following documents:

-written consent of the head of the higher education institution where the applicant is studying;

-copy of the record book, issued in accordance with the requirements and certified by the seal of the educational institution (faculty/institute);

-сonsent to the processing of personal data (to be filled in when submitting documents);

-copy of the document (one of the documents) certifying the person, as provided by the Law of Ukraine “On the Unified State Demographic Register and documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine, certifying the person or his/her special status”;*

-copy of the certificate of residence registration (as an appendix to the ID-card);*

-copy of the registration number of the taxpayer’s account card (individual tax number);*

-copy of the military registration document – for conscripts (except as provided by law);*

-Four color photos measuring 3 x 4 cm.

RENEWAL OF STUDIES AT VASYL’ STUS DONETSK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Renewal of studies is carried out during the holidays, regardless of the duration of the break in study, expulsion reasons, availability of work experience and form of study.

Students who want to resume their studies must submit the following documents:

-application (to be filled in when submitting documents);

-consent to the processing of personal data (to be filled in when submitting documents);

-the original of the document on education on the basis of which the admission to HEI was carried out;

-original EIE certificate;

-original academic transcript;

-extract (or copy) of the expulsion order;

-copy of the document (one of the documents) certifying the person, as provided by the Law of Ukraine “On the Unified State Demographic Register and documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine, certifying the person or his/her special status”;*

-copy of the certificate of residence registration (as an appendix to the ID-card);*

-A copy of the registration number of the taxpayer’s account card (individual tax number); *

-A copy of the military registration document (except as provided by law); *

– four color photos measuring 3 x 4 cm.
