How to get an invitation letter

An Invitation to Study is an official electronic document issued through the Study in Ukraine platform. It is required to apply for a D-13 student visa and to enter Ukraine for the purpose of study.

The Invitation to Study is valid for 180 days from the date of its issuance.

To apply for an electronic Invitation to Study, applicants must create a personal account on the Study in Ukraine portal:

After registering, applicants should complete their profile, upload the required documents, and submit an application for an Invitation to Study through the portal.

During the validity period of the Invitation to Study, applicants must apply for a D-13 visa at the Embassy or Consulate of Ukraine in their country of residence and enter Ukraine before the Invitation expires.

To apply for an Invitation to Study, applicants must upload the following documents to their personal account:

  1. A valid passport (a scanned copy of the original passport and a notarised Ukrainian translation).
  2. A document confirming the previously obtained level of education and the corresponding academic transcript (supplement), duly certified in accordance with the legislation of the country of issuance and legalised, together with scanned copies of the original documents and their notarised Ukrainian translations.

 

After being enrolled, international students are required to register with the authorities, receive temporary registration in the city of Vinnytsia and must strictly comply with the rules of conduct and legal rules governing their stay in Ukraine.
