How to get an invitation letter

The invitation study letter is an official document, which is prepared by the Ukrainian State Center for International Education. It has all the legal grounds and confirms the student’s right to enter the country in order to receive appropriate educational services.

The invitation includes the student’s passport details and the full name of the university. To obtain this invitation, an applicant is obliged to pay the cost of preparation services (UAH 1,500) and visa fee (UAH 324).

It takes about 3 days to prepare an invitation to study.

The document is valid for 180 days starting from the date of issue.

It is during the validity period of the study invitation that one should apply to the Embassy of Ukraine for a visa. Foreign applicants should find out all details related to obtaining a visa at the Embassy of Ukraine in their own country. To receive a study invitation, a prospective foreign applicant enrolling on the Bachelor, Master or PhD degree programs or on language training for pre-language courses shall submit the following documents to the Admissions Committee of the Educational and Scientific Center of International Education:

1. Passport;

2. Document certifying the level of obtained education with grades (academic marks) or academic background;

3. Written consent to the processing of personal data;

4. Notarized translations of passport document and the document certifying the acquired level of education into Ukrainian language;

After being enrolled, foreign applicants are required to register with the authorities, receive temporary registration in the city of Vinnytsia and must strictly comply with the rules of conduct and legal rules governing their stay in Ukraine.
