List of required documents

In order to study at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University, foreign applicants personally submit the list of documents, which must be certified according to the legislation of their country of issue and legalized (translated into Ukrainian language and notarized) at the Embassy of Ukraine in the country of origin.

1) Application;

2) 12 photo cards with size 30 x 40 mm;

3) Student’s passport copy or the document certifying that student is stateless;

4) Document (original) and a copy of the educational degree certifying the admission;

5) Medical Certificate of Health, certified by the official health authority of the country of origin;

6) Valid health insurance policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which agreements on free medical care were provided).

The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2 to 4 of this paragraph shall be translated into Ukrainian with a notarized (consular) certificate of translation.

1) Application;

2) A copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any);

3) Medical Health Certificate, certified by the official health authority of foreigner’s country of origin;

4) 12 photo cards with size 30 x 40 mm;

5) Document (original) and a copy of the educational degree certifying the admission;

6) Valid health insurance policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which agreements on free medical aid were concluded);

7) Student’s passport copy or the document certifying that person is stateless;

8) Certificate of Linguistic Training (the requirement does not apply to foreigners who are native English speakers and enrolled in Computer Science and International Business English courses).

The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2 to 4 of this paragraph should be translated into Ukrainian language with a notarized (consular) translation certificate.

1) Application;

2) A copy of the foreigner’s passport or citizenship certificate;

3) The original and a copy of the document containing information on the content of the curriculum for the previous higher education degree, credits/duration of studies and academic achievement;

4) 12 photo cards with size 30 x 40 mm;

5) Certificate of completion of the preparatory department for foreigners (the requirement does not apply to foreigners for whom the Admission Committee has concluded that there is a sufficient level of command of Ukrainian or Russian languages);

6) Medical Certificate of Health, certified by the official health authority of the country of origin;

7) Certificate copy of the foreign Ukrainian citizen (if available).

8) Document (original) and a copy of the educational (qualification) level certifying the admission;

9) A valid health insurance policy (except for foreigners who have come from countries with which agreements have been made for the provision of emergency medical care).

The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2 to 5 of this paragraph shall be translated into Ukrainian language with a notarized (consular) translation certificate.

The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2, 3 of this paragraph shall be certified in the country of issue in the officially used form in that country for such certification and legalized by the relevant foreign institution of Ukraine, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine.

Foreigners and stateless persons who have received basic higher or full higher education in Ukraine and are enrolled in Master’s degree at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University, submit the documents in accordance with paragraph 5.5. of this provision.

The list of documents under 5.5. are accompanied with the recognition certificate of the document issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, on the basis of which a foreigner entered Bachelor’s degree.

Upon admission to the Master’s degree programs General MBA and International Financial Management, foreign citizens submit the list of documents in accordance with paragraph 5.5. to the Admissions Committee of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University, except for the language training certificate.

1) Application;

2) The document (original) and copy of education degree certifying the admission;

3) Copy of student’s passport or a document certifying that the person is stateless;

4) Medical health certificate, certified by the official health authority of the country from which the foreigner came;

5) Completion certificate of the preparatory department for foreigners (the requirement does not apply to foreigners in respect of whom the Admissions Committee has concluded that there is a sufficient level of proficiency of Ukrainian or Russian language);

6) Valid health insurance policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which agreements on free emergency medical care have been concluded);

7) 12 photo cards with size 30 x 40 mm;

8) A copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian citizen (if any).

The documents specified in subparagraphs 2–4 of this paragraph must be translated into Ukrainian language with a notarized (consular) translation certificate.

5.9. Foreigners and stateless persons who have received a Master’s degree shall submit documents to the University Admissions Committee in accordance with clause 5.8. of this provision.

5.10. To transfer foreign students to Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University from other educational institutions, as well as from one form of study to another or direction (specialty) to another within the university, the following documents must be submitted:

1) Application;

2) Submission of the established sample (to be filled in during the submission of documents);

3) 12 photo cards with a size of 30 x 40 mm;

4) Written consent of the rector of the higher educational institution where the applicant is studying, with the seal of the higher educational institution (for foreign students of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University the written consent of the dean of the faculty where the student studies is sufficient);

5) Academic certificate or record book;

6) Student’s passport copy or a document certifying his/her statelessness;

7) Completion certificate of the preparatory department for foreigners (the requirement does not apply to foreigners in respect of whom the Admissions Committee has concluded that there is a sufficient level of proficiency of Ukrainian or Russian languages or those who are transferred to an English-language specialty);

8) Medical health certificate, certified by the official health authority of the country from which the foreigner came;

9) Certificate copy of a foreign Ukrainian citizen (if any);

10) Valid health insurance policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which agreements on free emergency medical care have been concluded);

The documents specified in subparagraphs 2–4 of this paragraph must be translated into Ukrainian language with a notarized (consular) certificate of translation

1) Application;

2) Excerpt from the order on expulsion;

3) A copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian citizen (if any);

4) Medical certificate of health status, certified by the official health authority of the country from which the foreigner came, especially if the foreigner has taken an academic leave;

5) Submission of the established sample (to be filled in during the submission of documents);

6) Passport copy or the certificate of citizenship;

7) Certificate of Completion of the Preparatory Department for Foreigners (the requirement does not apply to foreigners for whom the Admission Committee has concluded that they have sufficient command of Ukrainian or Russian language or those who are renewing their English specialty);

8) Academic Certificate (original);

9) 12 photo cards with size 30 x 40 mm;

10) Document (original) and a copy of the obtained educational (qualification) level, on the basis of which the entrance to Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University was made earlier;

11) Valid health insurance policy (except for foreigners who have come from countries with which agreements on free medical care are provided).

The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2 to 5 of this paragraph shall be translated into Ukrainian with a notarized (consular) certificate of translation.

The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2, 3 of this paragraph shall be certified in the country of issue in the form officially used in that country for such certification and legalized by the relevant foreign institution of Ukraine, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine.

Foreigners and stateless persons who have received basic higher or full higher education in Ukraine and are enrolled in the Master’s degree at Vasyl’ Stus DonNU, submit the documents in accordance with paragraph 5.5. of this provision.

To the list of documents under 5.5. the certificate of recognition of the document, issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, on the basis of which the foreigner entered the Bachelor’s degree, is attached.

Upon admission to the Master’s degree in English specialization General MBA and International Financial Management, foreign nationals submit to the Admissions Committee of Vasyl’ Stus DonNU the list of documents in accordance with paragraph 5.5. ., except for the language training certificate.

Nostrification

is a procedure for recognition of foreign documents on education, which is carried out by establishing the conformity of academic, professional rights and educational as well as educational and qualification levels of foreign documents on education (qualification) to the state standards of education of Ukraine in order to ensure the rights of citizens who have received education in foreign countries, for continuation of education and professional activity in Ukraine.
