«VIN-MEDIA» Media School

The program was implemented by Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University in partnership with the public organization “Vis” supported by Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.

Purpose of the program

Development of competencies of chief editors and managers of district newspapers in Vinnytsia Oblast, which will increase the competitiveness of municipal publications.

The main task of the School is reflected in its slogan – “From communal newspaper to a successful media”.

During the program, participants have acquired professional competencies in:

  • ability to analyze and publish information about social and political life events, economic and social processes, cultural events on media pages;
  • forming strategic vision, strategic management and planning tools;
  • working with sources of information and creating high-quality photographic content;
  • using political content in modern media publication;
  • basics of public communications, algorithm of information-analytical activity and fundamental principles of journalism;
  • assimilation of legal bases of the newspaper activity.

22 participants of the School received certificates of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University and supplements to them on the results of training and presentation of the final project.
