Internal academic mobilit

At the beginning of 2016, the Vasyl’ Stus DonNU approved the “Regulations on the exercise of the right for academic mobility of domestic and foreign participants in the educational process at Donetsk National University”.

During September and November 2016–2017 the Board of Internal Academic Mobility decided to select and send 40 students of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Vasyl’ Stus DonNU to have an academic mobility internship at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv within the framework of the «European Development University Donetsk Project» in Vinnytsia 2016 with the support of the Renaissance Foundation and the assistance of the Institute for Social Research and Policy Analysis.

Also 2 Bachelor students participated in the international summer school «Sharing European integration know-how and CBC experience between Slovakia, Norway and Russia with Ukraine».

The Board of Internal Academic Mobility approved two internship programs: an internship program for students of all specialties within the framework of Vasyl Stus Academic Inter-University Mobility and LNU. I. Franko as well as the internship program for students of all specialties of the Master’s degree program within the framework of Vasyl Stus Academic Inter-University Mobility of DonNU and LNU. I. Franko.

The Board of Internal Academic Mobility in 2017 sent 7 students to the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv under the program of Internal Academic Mobility at UCU – by experience ”within the framework of the“ Innovative Forms of Internal Academic Mobility ”project of the European Development of DonNU 2016 ”with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and «ГО «ІСДПА».

In February 2017, 6 Bachelor students of Political Science and International Relations were engaged in an international winter school “Know-how on European Integration and the experience of cross-border cooperation between Norway, Russia and Ukraine” held in the village Polyana in Transcarpathia.

In total, 55 students participated in internal academic mobility (as of April 30, 2017), including 11 students of the Master’s degree and 44 students of the Bachelor’s degree.

A forward-looking task is to increase the number of participants in internal academic mobility and to encourage the development of internal academic mobility programs for teachers of DonNU named after Vasyl Stus.
